Richard Zinck Inner Child
A Legacy of Authenticity
Richard’s 2013 MoMondays experience in Toronto serves as a powerful reminder that the most impactful stories are those that come from the heart. By embracing vulnerability and authenticity, he not only inspired others but also unlocked a deeper understanding of himself. His journey is a testament to the idea that sometimes, the most meaningful directions in life are the ones we least expect.
For Richard, that night in Toronto wasn’t just a speaking engagement; it was a turning point—a moment when he discovered the transformative power of sharing his heart. And for everyone fortunate enough to be in the audience, it was a message they would carry with them long after the evening ended.

Stomachman Coffee Truck 1994
In 1994, Richard Zinck demonstrated a visionary approach to the mobile food and beverage industry by reimagining the traditional Coffee Truck. His redesign incorporated forward-thinking upgrades that set his design apart from the standard models of the time. Key innovations included a fresh brew coffee system, providing authentic and aromatic coffee on the go, a deeper oven for enhanced larger capabilities, and an upgraded refrigerated section to better preserve a variety of perishable items. Additionally, he introduced a refrigerated storage area, ensuring that ingredients could be stored for longer durations and in optimal conditions. The crowning jewel of his redesign, however, was the integration of a fully computerized POS (Point of Sale) system, a rarity for Coffee Trucks at that time, which streamlined transactions and enhanced efficiency.
Richard’s redesign did not go unnoticed. A major Donut Shop approached him with the possibility of collaboration. They gave him a mere two days to create a video demonstrating the standard operations of a typical Coffee Truck business while highlighting the superiority of his innovative design.
Fueled by determination and creativity, Richard sought out the expertise of Ian de Voy Video Productions. Together, and remarkably without a script, they managed to bring his vision to life on camera. With seamless collaboration and a clear shared goal, they completed the video within the two-day deadline.

Funny Face Dodge Commercial
Just for fun.
In the early 2000’s Richard went to the car show in Toronto. A guy grabs him and tells him he has a special gift for him. He sits Richard behind a car door and gives him lines to say. Then he says make a funny face. Then that was it. He says watch for an email in a couple of days.
A couple of days go by and Richard gets this car commercial video. What a great marketing tool. Richard sent it to all his friends and it got 20 thousand views on You Tube.

How Richard Helped David the Landscaper
A Story of Unlikely Coaching and Unexpected Success
Richard’s son, Chris Zinck, found himself in a tight spot at work. Employed by David Warburton, a landscaper struggling to find clients, Chris could see the writing on the wall—without new business, he’d soon be out of a job. Desperate, Chris approached his father with a plea: “Dad, you have to coach my boss on how to get more clients. We don’t have any right now, and I’ll soon be out of work.”
Richard, ever the realist, hesitated. “I don’t know anything about landscaping,” he admitted. But Chris persisted, reminding his father of past adventures: “You didn’t know anything about Micro Markets, and you figured that out. Just do your magic—teach him that stuff you talk about when you draw business to you.”
Reluctantly, Richard agreed. He made no promises to David, telling him frankly that he could end the coaching at any time if he wasn’t satisfied with the results. But as fate would have it, results came faster than anyone expected. Within a single week, David landed the largest client he’d ever had.
Under Richard’s guidance, David learned the “magic”—the principles that Richard always used to attract business, no matter the industry. David proved to be an eager student, and the momentum built quickly. Soon, more and more business flowed in, including contracts with Ontario’s most notable and successful people—the very names often mentioned in the press. David was overjoyed, and Chris too; together, they secured dream landscaping jobs that once seemed out of reach.
Grateful for the transformation, Richard asked David for a reference. The result? A video testimonial, as humorous as it was heartfelt. Watching David try to describe Richard’s unique coaching style was its own form of entertainment—proof that sometimes, a different perspective and a bit of “magic” are all it takes to turn things around.
